How you can help

South Canterbury Multiple Sclerosis Society In. offers membership subscriptions to individuals and families. You don’t have to be a person with MS to become a member or to benefit from our membership services. Membership helps us to provide much needed support to people with MS. Annual membership for an individual is $xx and is valid from 1st January to 31st December. Even if you are not a member you are still able to access our free core services:

  • Newly diagnosed support
  • Information on MS
  • Access to bi-monthly newsletter online

Membership offers additional benefits for people with MS, families, caregivers and members of the public. With your support the range of services and support we can provide will continue to grow each year. Our established programme includes:

  • Printed or emailed direct bi-monthly newsletter
  • Free assessment for Total Mobility Card

You can send us your donation by post with your name and address included so we can send you a receipt – all donations $5 and over qualify for a tax rebate. The society is registered as a charitable organisation under the Charities Act 2005 – Registration Number CC38838. Please address all donations to: The Treasurer, South Canterbury Multiple Sclerosis Society Inc, PO Box 983, Timaru, 7940. Thank you for your support. If you would like to make a donation please contact us.

The South Canterbury Multiple Sclerosis Society Inc is always looking for Volunteers to help in many different area’s of the Society. Some of the following may interest you:
